How we work ↓

Sound familiar?

Everyday problems.
A useful next step.

These are examples of work we can assess, not promises of an instant fix. Tell us what is happening and we will agree the right approach.

Computers and access

“My laptop is slow or I cannot sign in.”

We investigate the symptoms, explain what we find and discuss the next steps. If hardware repair or another supplier is needed, we will make that clear.

Business email

“We need email using our company name.”

We can assess your domain and Microsoft 365 setup, configure the agreed accounts and check email access. Moving existing mail is planned separately.

New starters

“Someone starts next week and needs a laptop.”

We agree the device, apps and access needed, then help prepare and test the setup. Hardware and software licences are identified separately.

Office changes

“We are moving office or replacing our laptops.”

We help map the tasks, equipment, suppliers and dates so you know what needs doing. On-site work and specialist dependencies are agreed in the plan.

Based in London, with on-site work agreed by location and availability. Remote appointments are available to UK businesses where the device and connection support them.

02 / Working together

The right help.
A clear quote.

Tell us what is happening and what you want to achieve. We will explain the options, what is included and what it will cost before you decide.

How your quotation is built.

Support is quoted by time or an agreed task; prepaid support by a defined allocation of hours; and projects by scope, milestones or delivery days. We consider users and devices, complexity, access, location and timing. Your written proposal confirms the price, payment schedule, any applicable VAT and separately identified hardware, licence, migration tool or travel costs.

There is no automatic commitment to ongoing support. Any recurring arrangement has its own agreed scope and availability.

01 / DISCUSS

Tell us what you need.

Share the issue or desired outcome, your users and devices, and your preferred timing. We assess the requirement and the right delivery approach.

02 / AGREE

Review a clear proposal.

Receive the scope, deliverables, price and payment terms in writing. Any hardware, licences, migration tools or travel costs are identified separately.

03 / BOOK

Plan the delivery.

Once the proposal is accepted and the payment terms are agreed, we confirm the appointment or project dates. Extra work is approved before proceeding.

One-off support, prepaid hours and scoped projects are available. Availability, payment terms and any applicable VAT are confirmed in your proposal. No standard emergency or 24-hour cover.

Before you book

How do you charge?

Depending on the work, we quote by time, an agreed task, a bank of support hours, project milestones or delivery days. You receive the scope, price, payment terms and any separate costs in writing before committing.

What happens after we accept a quote?

We confirm payment and dates, agree your business contact and authorised access, and prepare for delivery. The agreed work is then checked and handed over with relevant notes and next steps.

Can you support us during the working day?

Daytime work is available only when agreed in advance. Regular support is offered through booked evening and Saturday appointments. If your business needs continuous daytime helpdesk cover, we will discuss whether the arrangement is suitable before you commit.

How quickly will I hear back?

We aim to acknowledge enquiries within 48 hours, counting working days only (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays). This is an acknowledgement target, not a guaranteed resolution time. Appointment availability is confirmed when booking.

What happens if the work is bigger than expected?

We explain the options and agree any extra work and cost before proceeding. Migrations and complex deployments are scoped before a fixed quotation is issued.

Can we book ongoing support?

Yes. Discuss prepaid remote support hours or an ongoing arrangement with a defined scope and number of booked hours. Monitoring, licences, backup management and emergency cover are included only if expressly agreed.

Do you work with MSPs and delivery partners?

Yes. K A Myers Tech can support agreed workplace projects, deployments and specialist delivery engagements. Scope, dates and commercial terms are confirmed in writing.

Getting started

From agreement
to a clear handover.

You know what happens next, who owns each step and what is needed before delivery begins.

01 / CONFIRM

Accept the proposal.

Review and accept the scope, price, exclusions, payment terms and success criteria. We confirm delivery dates once the proposal is accepted and the payment terms are agreed.

02 / PREPARE

Agree access and ownership.

Nominate your business contact and confirm devices, systems and authorised access. We agree how credentials and MFA will be handled; do not send passwords in an enquiry.

03 / DELIVER

Keep the work visible.

We record work completed and update you at the agreed checkpoints. Decisions, blockers and any additional work are discussed before the scope changes.

04 / HAND OVER

Confirm the next steps.

Check the agreed deliverables together and receive the relevant notes, outstanding actions and ownership details. Any follow-up support is defined in the proposal.

For prepaid or ongoing support, we also agree the contact route, eligible requests, availability, time recording and escalation options. Standard booked support does not include continuous monitoring or emergency cover.

What we receive and why

When you email us, we receive your name, email address, company details and the requirement you choose to share. Providers and retention

Our Microsoft 365 email provider and website hosting providers process information needed to deliver these services. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, manage any resulting engagement and meet applicable record keeping obligations. Retention depends on whether the enquiry leads to work, remains active or is needed to resolve a dispute.

Your rights

You can ask to access or correct your personal information and, where applicable, request deletion, restriction or portability. You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at the address above. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
